These hood hinges were sent out for restoration, and have been thoroughly gone through and rebuilt to better than OEM specs. The old rivets were removed, all parts media blasted, holes were machined back to round, any bent framework was straitened, checked for cracks, and new custom sized quality rivets were pressed int and pre-lubricated. We do not paint these so that you can see the new rivets pressed in and there is no cracks. Be careful buying from others that slap a coat of paint on them that could hide the fact that not all rivets were replaced or hide any cracks. **THE HOOD IS OVERSIZED AND EXTREMELY HEAVY, SO FOR INSTALLATION PURPOSES, REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 3 PEOPLE, BEST TO HAVE 4 PEOPLE TO INSTALL IT. ONE PERSON SUPPORTING EACH CORNER CLOSEST TO THE WINDSHIELD AND ONE PERSON (OR 2 IF POSSIBLE) UP FRONT TO HOLD THE HOOD ON THE UPRIGHT POSITION. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN BENDING THE HOOD HINGE.**

Core must be returned within 30 days from date of receipt, no exceptions, and must be a good rebuildable core (meaning that the hinges aren't cracked or severely bent).
