This OEM Upper alternator adjusting link bracket is in excellent condition. The is for non A.I.R.  (aka non-smog) cars. Bracket was sandblasted and painted with period correct Cadillac Light Blue Bill Hirsch engine paint. Please look at all pictures as they are part of the description.  This was removed from a 1978 Cadillac Deville, but may fit other vehicles listed in compatibility chart; fitment is verified by Cadillac Master Parts List 2.317, so please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.

This Restored single groove water pump pulley is in very good condition. It has been sandblasted and painted with high heat engine paint. This is the small retainer clip that holds the throttle cable to the carburetor. Brand new, stainless steel. This is a professionally rebuilt power steering gear box for 1959-1976 Cadillacs.

  • 100% hydraulic testing measures for proper flow, leakage and performance to ensure perfect fit and function.
  • 100% new O-rings and lip seals ensure leak-free, long-lasting performance.
  • All critical components are tested to ensure product reliability.
  • Shafts are surfaced to precise specifications to eliminate premature seal wear and extend gear life.

There is no warranty unless installed by CJ Auto Parts, due to the fact that most failures are due to improper installation. Loose belt causes hard steering, over tightening the belt can cause premature failure to pump and bearing seal. Low or incorrect fluid can cause premature failure. Failure to flush old contaminated fluid can cause premature failure, etc.

Failure to properly flush the system can lead to binding, poor returnabilty, leaking, hard steering, intermittent assist and noise. MUST use O.E. specified fluid, not generic power steering fluid. Also, must not clean the steering system with common shop chemicals, which can damage power steering seals. If system was heavily contaminated, a power steering filter can simply be added to the return line.

INSTALLER INSTRUCTIONS: Power steering hoses/lines MUST be free flowing, no blockages or restrictions, and should not be any more than 10-15 years old (rubber does wear on the inside as well as the outside). System MUST be rid of any contaminants. Severely contaminated power steering systems should have an aftermarket filter installed in the return line for extra protection.

Price includes $150 core fee, which is refundable upon return of your good rebuildable core. The core return must be the, same as what you are receiving. We will not accept core returns that are no tthe same as what you received. Core must be returned within 30 days from date of receipt, no exceptions, and must be a good rebuildable core (meaning the internal components cannot be frozen, rotted through, heavily rusted, heavily pitted etc.). If you’re uncertain, you can always send us a pictures of your core first. Core must be the of the exact style power steering gear box from a 1959-1976 Cadillac, same as the one you are receiving (again, if you are not sure what you have you can email us first). This is for Hydroboost Booster equipped vehicles. This is a rebuilt power steering pump and comes installed in the factory original reservoir/housing, which is in good condition, no major dings/dents. Other power steering pump assemblies out there do not have a factory original housing, rather they are a cheap aftermarket housing that looks horrible when trying to restore your car to factory specs. Don’t be fooled by stock photos, what you see here is what you get, original and ready to install on your show car or cruise night car. Reservoir was thoroughly cleaned and painted with a high heat engine paint. Please look at all pictures as they are part of the description. Fitment is based on Cadillac Master Parts List 4.805 but please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.

Power steering pulley MUST be pressed on with proper installation tool, NOT hammered on, which will cause damage to the pump.

Brand new mechanical fuel pump. 1971 Cadillac was a switch year, some had 3/8″ fuel line and some had 5/16″ fuel line. This is for cars with 3/8″ fuel line only.
