This OEM lower generator mounting bracket is in excellent condition. It has been sandblasted and painted with a high heat paint. Fully intact, no cracks. Threads are in excellent condition, not stripped. Please view all pictures as they a part of the description. This was removed from a 1959 Cadillac, but may fit vehicles listed in compatibility chart; please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.

This will fit all 1959 Cadillac models with & without A/C, and all 1960 Cadillac models with & without A/C, except will not fit 1960 models equipped with rubber mounted 35 amp generator. This will also fit 1958 Cadillac models with A/C only after engine # 050859 and 1958 Cadillac models without A/C only after engine # 051149.  This will also fit 1961 Cadillac 60 Series & 62 Series models before engine # 049993 with A/C, and 1961 Cadillac 75 Series & Commercial Chassis models before engine # 049993 with or without A/C.  If you are uncertain, please contact us before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

This OEM Non A.I.R. rear lower alternator bracket link with bolt and spacer is in good condition. This was sandblasted and painted with period correct Bill Hirsch paint. Comes with the mounting bolt and spacer. This is for NON A.I.R. (NON SMOG) vehicles. Please view all the photos as they are part of the description. This OEM upper alternator bracket adjusting link is in good condition. Bracket was sandblasted and painted with period correct Bill Hirsch Cadillac Dark Blue engine paint. This is for non A/C Cars (cars WITHOUT A/C). Bracket is intact, no cracks. Has pitting typical for a used part its age. Please view all the photos as they are part of the description. This was removed from a 1964 Cadillac with 429 Engine, but  may fit other vehicles listed in compatibility chart; fitment is based on Cadillac Master Parts List 2.317/7.0016 – #1479850/#1483398; please do your own  research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle. This OEM battery hold down bracket is in good condition. Overall very minor blemishes. The metal portion is intact and solid, which is very hard to find as these erode away. The metal was sandblasted and painted to help protect it from future battery acid and weather conditions. Has average wear for its age. Get it while you can, these don’t last long once they come in. This was removed from a 76 Cadillac Eldorado, but may fit other vehicles in the fitment chart; fitment is verified by Cadillac Master Parts List 2.335, #1608537, please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.

This is a New Old Stock (NOS) hood “V” emblem without the box. I purchased these in a lot of NOS parts from an old GM dealer that was going out of business. As you can see the studs are clean without any threads, indicating that these were never mounted. I have 15 of these available, the quantity showing is how many is remaining. There is no warranty on pumps unless installed by CJ Auto Parts, due to the fact that most failures are due to improper installation. Loose belt causes hard steering, over tightening the belt can cause premature failure to pump and bearing seal. Low or incorrect fluid can cause premature failure. Failure to flush old contaminated fluid can cause premature failure, etc.
 
Failure to properly flush the system can lead to binding, poor returnabilty, leaking, hard steering, intermittent assist and noise. MUST use O.E. specified fluid, not generic power steering fluid. Also, must not clean the steering system with common shop chemicals, which can damage power steering seals. If system was heavily contaminated, a power steering filter can simply be added to the return line.
 
INSTALLER INSTRUCTIONS: Power steering hoses/lines MUST be free flowing, no blockages or restrictions, and should not be any more than 10-15 years old (rubber does wear on the inside as well as the outside). System MUST be rid of any contaminants. If pump becomes aerated on startup, turn vehicle off until the foam subsides, Severely contaminated power steering systems should have an aftermarket filter installed in the return line for extra protection. Power steering pulley MUST be pressed on with proper installation tool, NOT hammered on, which will cause damage to the pump.
 
CORE RETURN DETAILS…MUST READ: 
Price includes $30 core fee, which is refundable upon return of your good rebuildable core. The core return must include the pump same as what you are receiving. Core must be returned within 30 days from date of receipt, no exceptions, and must be a good rebuildable core (meaning the internal components cannot be frozen, rotted through, heavily rusted, heavily pitted etc.). If you’re uncertain, you can always send us a pictures of your core first. Core must be the of the exact style power steering pump for the 1975-1979 Cadillac, same as the one you are receiving (again, if you are not sure what you have you can email us first). Core refund will not be given if any of the above requirements are not met.

Professionally rebuilt and ready to install, what you see in the photos is what you get. There is no warranty on pumps unless installed by CJ Auto Parts, due to the fact that most failures are due to improper installation. Loose belt causes hard steering, over tightening the belt can cause premature failure to pump and bearing seal. Low or incorrect fluid can cause premature failure. Failure to flush old contaminated fluid can cause premature failure, etc.
Failure to properly flush the system can lead to binding, poor returnabilty, leaking, hard steering, intermittent assist and noise. MUST use O.E. specified fluid, not generic power steering fluid. Also, must not clean the steering system with common shop chemicals, which can damage power steering seals. If system was heavily contaminated, a power steering filter can simply be added to the return line.
 
INSTALLER INSTRUCTIONS: Power steering hoses/lines MUST be free flowing, no blockages or restrictions, and should not be any more than 10-15 years old (rubber does wear on the inside as well as the outside). System MUST be rid of any contaminants. If pump becomes aerated on startup, turn vehicle off until the foam subsides, Severely contaminated power steering systems should have an aftermarket filter installed in the return line for extra protection. Power steering pulley MUST be pressed on with proper installation tool, NOT hammered on, which will cause damage to the pump.
 
CORE RETURN DETAILS…MUST READ: 
Price includes $30 core fee, which is refundable upon return of your good rebuildable core. The core return must include the pump same as what you are receiving. Core must be returned within 30 days from date of receipt, no exceptions, and must be a good rebuildable core (meaning the internal components cannot be frozen, rotted through, heavily rusted, heavily pitted etc.). If you’re uncertain, you can always send us a pictures of your core first. Core must be the of the exact style power steering pump for the 1971-1974 Cadillac, same as the one you are receiving (again, if you are not sure what you have you can email us first). Core refund will not be given if any of the above requirements are not met.

This OEM front transmission crossmember is in very good condition. This was sandblasted and painted with a high heat engine paint. This is the front transmission crossmember that sits under the trans closest to the engine. Nice and solid, no rot, no cracks. This was removed from a 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood, but may fit other vehicles in compatibility chart; fitment verified by Cadillac Master Parts List 11.0472, part #1481979; please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.
