REFURBISHED 1960 CADILLAC DEVILLE ELDORADO FLEETWOOD DASH DELCO AM WONDERBAR RADIO #7274905/7270731

Description

This Delco Wonderbar Radio was professionally serviced/refurbished. **THIS FITS 1960 CADILLACS ONLY – WILL NOT FIT 1959** Service included replacing ALL the electrolytic and several wax dipped paper-foil capacitors with NEW capacitors; replacing several key resistors with NEW resistors, replacing several noise filter capacitors with NEW capacitors; flushed out and lubricated ALL controls; ALL tubes were removed/tested/and replaced if weak or borderline; WONDERBAR rewind solenoid and hold relay contacts were dismantled, resurfaced and adjusted; Tuner Circuits were electronically re-aligned; Dial Lamp was replaced with NEW lamp; and replaced two pushbuttons with pushbuttons with better chrome. The chrome on the faceplate has a nice reflective shine, and very minimal pits. See all pictures for condition.

NOTE: THIS RADIO REQUIRES A SPECIAL DELCO 4 OHM SPEAKER THAT MUST HAVE THE OUTPUT TRANSFORMER MOUNTED ACROSS THE VOICE COIL TERMINALS, SAME AS WAS FACTORY.

CONNECTING A STANDARD SPEAKER TO THIS RADIO WILL RESULT IN OUTPUT TRANSISTOR DAMAGE!

The rear speaker must also be 4 OHMs, SAME AS FACTORY.

BE CAREFUL OF CHEAP AFTERMARKET SPEAKERS THAT HAVE LESS THAN THE REQUIRED 4 OHMS. FOR THE FRONT SPEAKER, IT IS BEST TO HAVE YOUR SPEAKER REBULT IN ORDER TO TRANSFER THE FACTORY OUTPUT TRANSFORMER.
