This OEM intake manifold is in show quality condition. This was sandblasted and painted with period correct Cadillac Dark Blue Engine Enamel (Bill Hirsch). Inspected for cracks, no cracks visible, and webbing areas are all intact, no cracks. This intake is for 1961-1962 Cadillac models ONLY. The gasket surfaces on the ports are in excellent condition, no pitting. Only section that has any pitting is where the exhaust crosses over under the carb area, otherwise gasket surfaces are perfect. Carb studs are included as pictured and are in excellent condition. Threads on intake are in excellent condition, were all chased and cleaned, no stripped or worn threads.Fitment is verified by Cadillac Master Parts List 8.4325 but please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.
**Although the Part #3512079 is for 1959-1962 Cadillacs with a notation in the Master Parts Book to Block off the front part it used on 61-62, this particular intake manifold is a later production of that era and will only work on 61-62 Cadillac Models, as it has the front vacuum port already blocked off in the casting from the factory, so this is a true factory original 61-62 intake manifold with factory casting proper for those years, no need to block off and ports with this intake. The will not work on 59-60 Cadillac models as the vacuum port is blovked off and is necessary for 59-60 models.**
